Ninth Incarnation offers a safe space to reconnect with yourself

Anastasia McRae, licensed clinical social worker and tarot consultant, owns and operates Ninth Incarnation, a private mental health practice in the Hyde Park area of Chicago.

• I work with individuals who locate themselves along a changing continuum of race, age, sex and sexual orientation, culture, ability, class, and neurodivergence.

• In my fifteen years of clinical practice, I have worked with elementary school children and their families, as a hospital chaplain, on in-patient psych units, with combat veterans, with a variety of trauma, childhood and otherwise, coming of age questions, identity and relationship issues.

• I am one of those people who, when cooking, appreciate the flavors and techniques of multiple cuisines. This is also how I work therapeutically. I utilize psychodynamic, body-centered/somatic, spiritually open methods in talk therapy, hypnosis, and EMDR. Some people also experience tarot consultation a powerful alternative in addressing healing concerns.
